Love and Loss in the Family Album: Finding the Story Between the Covers
A Hands-On Workshop with
Maureen Taylor, The Photo Detective
If you know how to read the clues, photo albums tell a story. They are a “snapshot” of your family at a particular period of time curated by a family member. In this workshop you’ll be asked to examine your photo albums for clues. Maureen’s signature 5 step identification (who, what, where, when and why) and her interpretation process applies to photos and photo albums whether they are old or somewhat new. What will you discover about your family from your photo album?
This is an interactive workshop. Participants will be asked to fill in a workbook after the lecture and encouraged to ask questions that will be worked on live.
Attendance is limited to 20 participants. The workshop will be offered twice on the same date, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. They will be the same workshop, please do not register for both.
